About the event

APEX — Accelerating Potential, Evolution, eXpansion. Two hours with a working founder, open to every SCSVMV student, first years included.

Not a careers talk and not a product demo. A founder tells you how the thing actually got built, our team presses them on the parts students care about, and then the floor is yours.

Who it is for

  • First, second and third year students, any department. No idea or team needed.
  • Freshers from the morning session — Freshie Intro closes at 3:00 and this begins at 3:10 in the same place.
  • Anyone already building something who wants an hour with someone who has done it.

Before you come

  • Bring your college ID card.
  • Bring the QR pass from your confirmation email — on your phone is fine.
  • Write a real question in the registration form. The best ones are read out on the day.
  • Every student who checks in receives a verified e-certificate afterwards.

Any questions?

The session

One founder, two hours, no slides about synergy.

APEX brings a working founder onto campus to talk about the part that does not make it to LinkedIn — what went wrong, what it cost, and what they would tell a student who is thinking about starting something.

The founder is being confirmed — their name and story appear here the moment it is signed.

How the two hours work

  1. 01

    The founder's story

Forty-five minutes, told straight: where the idea came from, what the first year actually looked like, and the decisions they would take back.

  2. 02

    The panel

Practical answers on building something while you still have attendance, exams and a degree to finish. Our own team joins the founder on stage.

  3. 03

    Open questions

We pick the sharpest questions from the registration form, then open the floor. Ask the thing you would not ask on a call.

The running order

  1. 3:00

    Doors open, QR pass check-in

  2. 3:10

    Welcome and introductions

  3. 3:15

    The founder's story

  4. 4:00

    Panel: building while you study

  5. 4:35

    Open questions from the floor

  6. 5:00

    Certificates and a group photo

  7. 5:10

    Close

Come with a question

The registration form asks what you would ask a founder. Write something real — the best ones are read out on the day, and every student who checks in leaves with a verified e-certificate.
