About the event
Freshie Intro is the Entrepreneurship Cell's welcome session for the incoming first-year batch. One hour, taken by the E-Cell core team of SCSVMV. Not a lecture — you talk, you argue, you pitch.
You do not need an idea, a team or any background in business. You need to turn up.
What we will cover
- What E-Cell actually does: the competitions, workshops, mentor circles and national events we take our teams to, and how a first year gets into all of it.
- How a person becomes an entrepreneur: where real ideas come from, and the first few steps that cost nothing but attention.
- College life and startup life, together: how to give time to both without one wrecking the other — what to say yes to, what to drop, and how seniors here actually manage it.
- Interactive rounds: icebreakers, a rapid-fire round, and a short ideation sprint where you pitch a fix for something on this campus in sixty seconds.
- Meet the core team: who we are, what each of us does, and how to join us.
Before you come
- Bring your college ID card.
- Bring the QR pass from your confirmation email — on your phone is fine. It is how we check you in at the door.
- APEX follows at 3:10 pm in the same place, open to every SCSVMV student — stay on if you can.
- Seats are limited and this session is for first-year students only.
Come with a question you have been too unsure to ask. That is the whole point of the session.
